I have reset the surface and restarted it and still it is not able to connect at all. Same error msgs.Īgain i updated the driver, rebooted, uploaded the one that the support person provided the previous day and yet nothing. The support person ensured that it connected to the wifi and it was all working well. In store they could not fix the surface and pro and gave me another refurbished one. Still this did not work.Īfter extensive troubleshooting with support advice was to return it to a store for their review and replacement as it was determined to be a hardware issue.
Support asked me to update the driver version to a more recent one. Additional info I found was a message in the events logs that Windows had stopped the adapter as it was reporting problems then Code 43. It was working fine in store, For half a day it worked fine at home and then suddenly the exact same issue and error msgs. I took it back to Microsoft and they replaced the 4 with a refurbished Surface Pro 7. I update the driver rebooted, reset the machine but nothing worked.
The error msgs were that the Intel(R) Wi-Fi AX201 160MHz adapter is experiencing driver or hardware -related problems ANDĪ network cable is not properly plugged in or may be broken.
I had a surface pro 4 that suddenly lost wifi contact and lost all ability to see any networks.
